It was a very sunny day on Lake Simcoe for the Simcoe County Home Builders’ Association Ice Fishing Tournament.
This year’s event boasted a total of 732 registered fishing holes, and over 1,000 participants. Crozier’s well-rounded 2017 fishing team ended up winning a prize. Crozier fisherperson, Brittany Robertson, garnered 23rd place for her 0.61 lb. herring, which was caught in just under 14 minutes!
The Simcoe County Home Builders’ Association was able to provide over $320,000 to local charities, from proceeds from this single event!
