MOVEmber 2016: Collingwood Gets Moving

img_3223

It’s hard to believe another Movember has come and gone.  As is now our tradition, the Crozier MoBros have been growing out their “glorious staches” to raise awareness about critical men’s health issues including prostrate and testicular cancer, suicide prevention and mental health. But for the MoSistas and MoBros in our midst not growing moustaches, there was a new way to way to get involved this year – the MOVE for Movember Challenge.

Facial hair aside, Collingwood staff were challenged to move and be active for all 30 days of the MOVEmber while raising awareness and donations for Men’s Health.  Volunteer staff instructors got staff MOVing with a wide array of physical activities over lunch and after hours, all month long.  Participation was strong, as was enthusiasm, for activities ranging from Agility Ladder to Core+Balance, Yoga, Crossfit, and Country Heat dance work-outs.

We MOVEd, got fit and raised some bucks … all at the same time. Now how’s that for multi-tasking??
